Wait 3 years after living in a country or countries where malaria is found.I didn't realise those stupid flying monsters of Dumdum could have such faaaaar-reaching effects. Bummer! Went to donate blood today and was politely told that

Heh, heh, a similar thing happened to me. It was not because of malaria, but because of coming from Europe. They didn't even exclude me for coming from the un-civilized part of Europe, I think any Europe is a no-go.
I didn't even get the free T-shirt. But I filled in various forms, and now they keep on sending me emails about blood drives that I can't participate in.
